Help us create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all attendees — both two-legged and four-legged.
We are so excited to have you join us for a fun-filled day with our furry friends. To help everyone — humans and dogs alike — have a safe and enjoyable time, please take a moment to read through our event etiquette and safety guidelines:
Water Safety Comes First
This event is located on the water — please keep an eye on your children and furbabies at all times for safety purposes!
Keep Dogs Leashed at All Times
This is a Council requirement and fines apply for off-leash dogs.
Calm & Manageable Dogs
Please ensure your dog remains calm and manageable throughout the event, for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Avoid Retractable Leashes
These can be unsafe in crowded environments.
Respect the Performance Arena
Stay at least 1 metre away from the arena barrier.
No Touching the Barrier
It's for visual guidance only and not designed to support weight. Please help children understand the importance of keeping their distance.
Clean Up After Your Dog
Bring poo bags — if you run out, visit the TWRA marquee for more.
Dispose of Waste Properly
Let's keep the park beautiful — please take all your litter with you or use the bins around the area.
Getting Here
Minimal residential parking at Warwick Daniels Lake View Park — we encourage walking or using the drop-off/pick-up zones around the park.
In Case of Emergency
A Paramedic will be on site near the TWRA membership table. Don't hesitate to ask for help if needed.
Thanks for being a responsible and caring member of our dog-loving community. Let's have a tail-wagging good time!
We use a simple colour-coded ribbon system to help everyone understand how to interact with each dog. Ribbons will be distributed at various locations and by people roaming through the event.

Do not approach — this dog requires space and distance. They may be nervous, in training, or need their personal space respected.
Approach slowly and ask the owner first. This dog may be shy, anxious, or still learning social skills.
Approachable and friendly to humans and other dogs. Feel free to say hello, but always be gentle and respectful.
By following these guidelines, you're helping us create a wonderful, safe experience for everyone at Paws in the Park 2026.
